Can you tell I like Neutral Milk Hotel?

At first this song was about shaving. Specifically my beard. I was applying for a new job that wouldn't let you grow a full beard and it made me upset! I look gross as shit with a beard, so without one I figured I'd look even grosser. I have to change my appearance for a job! Capitalism sucks. As the song progressed and I wrote more possible lyrics, it kinda turned into a song about love I guess. We rely on ourselves to stay positive and happy but sometimes ya need a pal or two, and this song is about thanking the pals that were there for me! As I was writing it, I kinda realized it sounds like this song promotes suicide or finding some way outta life, and I hope this doesn't need to be stated but I am not about that stuff. If you're feeling suicidal there are plenty of hotlines and websites out there to help you out. I'm not a trained expert but shit I care about you ok? This track description got dramatic really quick, so here are some filler words that aren't as dramatic: pudding. quack. hills. bumblebee like the transformer not the bee. Wow I feel less dramatic already!
